It is that time of year again! We are excited to announce that the National Association of Blind Students will be hosting the third annual NABS Walk-A-Thon. The past two years have been a great success, and we are looking forward to getting as many students involved for this years effort.
So how does the Walk-A-Thon work? It's easy! All you have to do is sign up and walk on Tuesday July 9th, 2019. When registered, you will receive your very own fundraising page with a link that you are able to share with everyone on your email list or social media pages. Let everyone know what you are raising funds for and how you will be doing it. From there, potential donors will either ''pledge'' a certain amount per mile you walk on July 9th... or donors can just donate a flat donation of their choice to our cause. It is as simple as post your link and watch the money flow in! Also, did I mention that the indidual who raises the most money wins a prize?! So sign up today!
Here are the instructions on how to sign up.
1. Go to https://go.rallyup.com/nabs2019/IGGJAH
2. Click on Participant Center.
3.Click on the Sign Up button and then click on Participant Registration.
4. Click on Proceed to Checkout and fill in the required fields.
5.Once complete, you will receive an email with a link to your personal page that you can share with all your friends and family!
We hope to get as many people registered for the Walk-A-Thon as possible this year and shatter last years total. Keep an eye out for updates regarding this exciting event. We hope to have you join in on the fun!
