Remember history. Advance equality. Celebrate accomplishments. Formerly known as Meet the Blind Month, the National Federation of the Blind celebrates the organized blind movement during October. Throughout the month, our members conduct a variety of outreach activities in their local communities. Many of these activities center on White Cane Awareness Day which is October 15. See the National Federation of the Blind's page for more information about initiatives in our greater organization!
A Chance to Win Big | Join us for Nation-Wide Trivia!
Don't miss this chance for you and your affiliate to win it big at our inter-affiliate trivia night, taking place on October 16, 8 PM - 10 PM EDT! There is a $5 entrance fee for each participant, but the affiliate that performs the best during the event will win a portion of the night's proceeds. Bring your friends, family, classmates—this is an event for anyone and everyone, so bring as many people from your state as you can. We will also be giving away incredible door prizes and learning many interesting things about Blind Equality Achievement Month throughout the night, so make sure to sign up here! If you have any questions, reach out to Fundraising committee chair Logan Stenzel.
