Elizabeth is an advocate, writer, and educator from Iowa who is passionate about empowering blind people through service, advocacy, and storytelling. A graduate of the Louisiana Center for the Blind, she is actively involved in the National Federation of the Blind at the chapter, affiliate, and national levels. Elizabeth is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University and works as a paraprofessional at a private Christian elementary school. Outside of work and school, she enjoys Broadway, sports, and reading—and is frequently supervised by her spirited ginger cat, Wrigley.
