Welcome to the National Association of Blind Students Blog. We are a proud member of the National Federation of the Blind; the oldest and largest organization of blind consumers in the United States with local chapters and affiliated divisions in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The National Association of Blind Students was organized to address the needs of blind students of all ages. We are a powerful force in the affairs of blind preschool, primary and secondary school, college age, and nontraditional students. We are an organization of blind students for blind students. We invite you to join with us in our many activities and initiatives. You need not be a member of NABS or the NFB to be a part of this online community. You are most welcome to share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences as a blind student or an educator of blind students with others in this community. Our blog is a way to exchange information about NABS division activities throughout the country and to provide a meeting place for blind students, parents, and educators from throughout the World. Welcome to the NABS Blog.
